Young's Modulus of Elasticity is a material property which is a measure of the stiffness of a particular material. The young's modulus of a material is the ratio of the stress to the strain of a material while it is undergoing elastic deformation.

when measuring the Young's Modulus of a material, it is not very accurate to measure the strain on a particular object when a known stress has been applied to. A more accurate way to measure the Young's Modulus of a material would be to look at a stress strain graph and take the gradient the straight line of it when the material is only undergoing elastic deformation, this will be the young's modulus.
